Overview

Habits for Better World is a non-profit organization that is working towards creating a sustainable future by promoting sustainable habits among people.

I have been volunteering with this organization since May 2024 through different phases of organization's growth, right from initial research to creating strategies to help users adopt sustainable habits. Currently, I am working as the Website Design Lead for the organization and I am responsible for the overall user experience and user interface of the organization's website. For this, I regularly coordinate with the branding team, content team and the social media marketing team to ensure the website is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

  • Collaborated with the branding team, content team and the social media marketing team to ensure the website is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Research Phase

Our organization's goal was to understand the blockers, motivations and misconceptions hindering users from adopting different sustainable habits. Our founding team had already identified the key concerning topics to work on and divided the cohort of 300+ volunteers into teams to focus on one specific topic of research based on their interests.

My team's topic was to understand the blockers, motivations and misconceptions hindering users from adopting Plant-Forward Eating Habits for Sustainable Living. My research process for this project involved three phases: Desk Research, Participant Surveys, and Generative UX Research.
